Vista College is currently hiring for a Dental Assistant Program Director at the College Station, Texas campus.

Responsible for providing professional program supervision and curriculum development, evaluation, systematic planning, supervision of instruction, and day to day school operations for Vista College’s Killeen Dental program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Director of Education with departmental curricula review, program development and textbook review.
Maintain departmental files.
Evaluate faculty and update the Director of Education as needed and/or as required.
Assist in interviewing and orienting new departmental faculty to become acquainted with policy and procedures of the Institution and the Company, and serve as a mentor in the implementation of effective teaching skills.
Responsible for implementation of Retention Plan and oversees retention of students.
Assist with implementation and evaluation of programs and activities to ensure that the Advisory Committee functions in a manner consistent with accreditation standards.
Ensure overall student satisfaction levels.
Instruct classes as assigned, and fill in for absent instructors.
Schedule and post office hours to provide academic support to students, tutor if necessary, and provide other assistance as needed.
Ability to interact with all levels of individuals.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a completion of post-secondary program in the Dental field with at least 900 contact hours
Must have experience teaching in a Dental program at least 3 to 5 years
Current RDA certification
Previous Program Director experience preferred
This position is a salaried role which will require flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the campus and provide a presence for both day and evening faculty and students.
May be required to travel to different sites according to class schedules
